What made me get on stage and talk nerdy?

I was seven years old when I watched Star Trek: The Next Generation for the first time! In 2011, after seeing Ashley Eckstein (Her Universe, Star Wars: Clone Wars) on a women in Trek panel at Star Trek: Las Vegas, I knew I wanted to be up there, sharing my thoughts and experiences. When Ashley left the panel due to her increasing busy schedule, she suggested I take her place. The rest is history! We've taken the Women in Star Trek panel from the secondary stage to the main theater at Star Trek: Las Vegas, an annual 6,000-Trekkie event, where we are the only all-female panel at this five-day convention. I am proud to continue to be part of and support these types of panels across the U.S. I have also hosted variations of this panel in New Jersey, New York, and Maryland.
